We’re pleased to announce the finalization of The Home Depot deal at the new Lakeforest Redevelopment, with Greg Ferrante of Segall Group representing the tenant in this expansion.
The project will convert the former enclosed mall into a vibrant, walkable mixed-use district that reflects the energy and diversity of today’s Gaithersburg. The 102 acre development will include 1,600 residential units, substantial office and commercial space, and approximately 470,000 square feet of large-format and smaller-scale retail, restaurants, fitness, and neighborhood services. The Home Depot, along with Sprouts Farmers Market and Landmark Theatre will anchor the project, supported by an upgraded transit center designed for robust bus service and future Bus Rapid Transit, positioning Lakeforest as a regional model for transit-oriented, lifestyle-focused redevelopment.
