Jamie has over 30 years of retail leasing experience and has dealt with all facets of retail leasing and brokerage, running the gamut of property type, size and location. His career has included the merchandising and leasing of complex mixed-use urban projects, malls, historic sites, outlets and suburban strips, primarily in the mid-Atlantic region. Prior to his work at Segall Group, he held positions with The Rouse Company, Prime Retail, General Growth, Struever Bros Eccles & Rouse and for 6 years he operated his own firm, Artios Retail.
Jamie has completed an array of lease transactions with national retailers including The Cheesecake Factory, Brooks Brothers and Pottery Barn, as well as with celebrated chefs such as James Beard-awarded Robert Wiedmaier, Foreman Restaurant Group and Durham, NC’s Scott Howell. Jamie has also handled the launch and rollout of Mission BBQ, completing over 20 lease transactions in Maryland and Virginia. His client representation in lease negotiations also include Raising Cane’s, Pure Raw Juice, Flagship Cinemas, Urban Air Adventure Park and many others.
Jamie earned a double major in math and economics from Hampden-Sydney College in Farmville, VA. He has won awards for retail merchandising and leasing including the Baltimore Business Journal’s “Heavy Hitter” and CoStar’s Power Broker awards.
Mr. Lanham is a 20+ year member of the ICSC and works to support charities such as Fishers of Men & Women of Harford County and It Is Well International. The Lanham family are volunteers and financial supporters of The Humane Society of Harford County, Inc. of Maryland.
Jamie holds an Associate Broker’s license in Maryland and Broker’s licenses in Virginia and North Carolina.
