Omar started his career in retail leasing with Verity Commercial and shortly after joined the Retail Occupier Services group under the Global Corporate Services branch of Newmark Knight Frank. As a part of the Retail Occupier Services group he was responsible for regional rollouts of national credit tenants such as Sprint and For Eyes. As an outsourced real estate manager, he managed the site selection process, negotiations, and oversaw the construction of each location until opening day.
Prior to joining Segall Group, Omar worked as a leasing associate for JBG Smith where he was responsible for lead generation, transaction and asset management, and strategic dealmaking to maximize revenue for the JBG portfolio.
