Streets Markets Café, a privately-owned and operated neighborhood grocery store that emphasizes healthy food products, has selected Yard 56 as the site of its second location in Baltimore City and seventh overall in the Maryland, Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. marketplaces. The company signed a lease with MCB Real Estate for 23,000 square feet of space within the Yard 56 development located at 5601 Eastern Avenue which is currently under construction.
“Streets Markets Café fills a significant void on the eastern side of Baltimore City for a high-quality grocery store, as there are currently scarce few options currently,” explained P. Because they are relatively small and privately-operated, Streets invests considerably into creating a concept that offers a comfortable and welcoming environment.
