An Italian restaurateur is turning to robots to help with staffing shortages at his latest concept in Howard County.
Facci Ristorante owner Gino Palma plans to debut the more casual ViVa Italian Kitchen Pizza Bar by the end of December. The restaurant at 7600 Hearthside Way, Suite 500 in Elkridge will be his fourth in Greater Baltimore. Unlike his other, more upscale spots, the new concept will use robots as greeters, servers and food runners.
