A brunch chain will continue its local expansion with the opening of its first Baltimore City location in a burgeoning waterfront neighborhood.
Eggspectation has signed a lease to join the Baltimore Peninsula development, according to a Friday announcement from developers MAG Partners and MacFarlane Partners. It will be the latest Greater Baltimore expansion for the Canadian chain, which has locations in Owings Mills, Timonium, Gambrills and a recently debuted Columbia spot. The chain’s website also lists an upcoming Annapolis location.
The breakfast and brunch restaurant will occupy a 4,700-square-foot space on the ground floor of the ROOST Baltimore hotel at 2460 Terrapin Way. The restaurant is expected to open in early 2026 and will add to the hotel building’s other offerings, including a cocktail bar called Vessel and the Little Wing coffee and goods shop.
