Pet Supplies "Plus" was founded in 1988 by Jack Berry and Harry Shallop, who brought supermarket-style convenience and value to the pet food and supply industry.
Pet Supplies "Plus" stores feature neat, well-stocked display shelves, helpful overhead signs, ample parking, convenient hours, a friendly staff and great everyday prices.
Within five years of the first store's opening in Michigan, the company has grown to 30 locations. Today there are over 240 Pet Supplies "Plus" stores in 22 states.
With private equity backing, the company is pursuing aggressive corporate growth in select markets throughout the U.S.

- 8,500 - 10,500 square feet
- Strip Centers with a large anchor store near a residential
neighborhood - High Traffic retail areas
- Supermarket anchored centers are preferred
