La Madeleine Country French Cafe

La Madeleine was founded in Dallas Texas by self-described “French country boy” Patrick Leon Esquerré.

Patrick opened his first la Madeleine bakery, or boulangerie, on Mockingbird Lane in Dallas, Texas. It soon expanded to a café and neighborhood gathering place for all to see, be seen and enjoy a variety of classic French country fare. Today a subsidiary of French baking conglomerate Groupe le Duff, La Madeleine operates over 60 units from Texas to the mid-Atlantic.
