Overview: River Run Center is an 18 acre development fronting on Monocacy Boulevard in Frederick, MD. The project is adjacent to the Riverside Corporate Center, a 2.8 million square foot, 450 acre development which includes major facilities for Aldi, Wells Fargo, Bakery de France, Charles River Laboratories and Frederick Brickworks. Monocacy Boulevard will be extended south to Interstate 70, creating an ?Eastern Loop? that will directly connect Interstate 70 with U.S. 15. River Run is situated between major retailers (Wal-Mart and the Giant Food-anchored Monocacy Center) and the Riverside Business Park. Riverside consists of approximately 2,000,000 square feet of existing office, flex, lab and distribution space, with an additional 1.8 million square feet under development. This expansion includes a 330,000 square foot laboratory and administrative offices of the National Cancer Institute, which will deliver in 2010. Retail growth will also occur in 2010, with a new Wegmans and Lowe?s expected to deliver at MD 26 and U.S. 15. Groundbreaking occurred in late 2008 for delivery in 2010.
